La nostra storia
Two brothers, an island in their hearts
Our story
Sicily is not a region — it is a way of cooking. Salt from the sea, lemon, good oil, and everything is allowed to take its time.
Danilo and Moreno Bilello grew up with this cuisine. What began in Nonna’s kitchen — antipasti that fill half the table, pasta where nobody asks whether there is still room — they continue in Sankt Andreasberg. For more than 15 years, La Capri has stood on Dr.-Willi-Bergmann-Straße, in the heart of the Upper Harz, 600 metres above sea level and yet surprisingly close to Palermo.
Many guests return year after year: locals who have their table, and holidaymakers who save the restaurant for their final evening. Since the renovation, the large terrace invites guests to linger through the summer.
And because good olive oil is the foundation of everything, the Bilellos now press their own: Oliobilello can now also be found in delicatessens and the kitchens of other restaurants. We are proud of that.

Renovation
More space, more terrace
After the structural change, the large outdoor terrace was created — in summer, the most beautiful place in the house.
